Corridor - Cité internationale des arts
Links (1)

By making use of the form of the Corridor exhibition space at the Cité internationale des arts, the mural created by Javkhlan Ariunbold and Jörg Kratz is transformed into an intangible ornamental structure that relates both to the specific volumes of the Corridor space, as well as to the architecture of the building's façade.

As the spectator moves through the space, he/she can perceive a subtle rhythm, an ambiguous and almost disturbing sensation of oscillation.

Javkhlan Ariunbold (Mongolia) and Jörg Kratz (Germany) are in residence at the Cité internationale des arts through the programme of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the German State of North Rhine-Westfalia.
