As part of the European Heritage Days, artist and botanist Thomas Ferrand is organising an event that will focus on the garden at the Cité internationale des arts in Montmartre.

During this visit-like event, he will talk about why this exceptional garden in the heart of Paris is so interesting and present the fauna and flora that he discovered here during his two residencies at the Cité. He will also be presenting his ethnobotanical work, notably talking about edible wild plants.

Thomas Ferrand is a director, artist and botanist specialising in edible wild plants. He has organised several tastings of plants he has foraged and works with restaurants, theatres and art centres. He was a resident at the Invisible Dog Art Center in New York and an associate artist at the Auditorium Theatre in Poitiers and Cognac Theatre in France. He regularly works with different cultural institutions across the country.

Thomas Ferrand (b. 1982, France) is in residency at the Cité internationale des arts.
