As part of the exhibition Les vies qu'on mène (The Lives we lead), the Forum Vies Mobiles and the Cité internationale des arts are organizing evenings of performances and lectures within the exhibition and in the Auditorium of the Cité.

The program:

• 6 - 7:30 pm: Conference Just and democratic the ecological society?

From one presidential election to the next, the ecological imperative is becoming more and more important in French political programs. So much so that almost no candidate nowadays ignores it. However, the proposed solutions diverge greatly, and the political systems that underlie them are sometimes rigorously opposed. Is the ecological society necessarily fair or can it exacerbate inequalities, especially in terms of mobility? Is it reasonable to oppose an authoritarian ecology for the sake of efficiency to a popular ecology for the sake of democracy? And besides, what do people want?

With :
• Cécile Duflot former minister and director of Oxfam France,
• Dominique Méda, sociologist of work and director of IRISSO, Paris Dauphine University

• 7:30 - 9 pm: Performance by Lasseindra Ninja

A performance/meeting with Lasseindra Ninja, artist in residency at the Cité internationale des arts (recipient of the "Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso & Cité internationale des arts" program), will take place in the exhibition after the conference.

The artist, figure of the voguing movement and organizer of famous ballrooms in France, will present this movement and the social, political and aesthetic stakes it carries.
