Sabina Oprea comes from a family of musicians, who introduced her to music at an early age. She made her debut as a philharmonic soloist at the age of 12 with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.12 and she has continued to perform ever since. In recent years, she has given several recitals in Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Focussing entirely on 20th century piano music, this evening’s programme includes Romanian composers George Enescu and Constantin Silvestri, the renowned composer Einojuhani Rautavaara and finally Guido Agosti’s piano transcription of Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird.
