Charlotte Gemmill is professionally known as Eliott, an Australia songwriter and artist, known for her heartfelt lyrics and soulful vocals.
Charlotte grew up small town of Cobram, Victoria, Australia. At four-years-old, she was singing, and at 14, she was penning her first original songs on guitar. In 2016, she packed her bags and went to Sydney to stay with family in the Blue Mountains. Here, in this insular, quiet enclave away from the noise of the city, Eliott was able to focus on her craft.
Eliott’s debut EP, Bold Enough was recorded with her trusted collaborator, Jack Grace who resides in Paris. The EP is filled with songs that deal with the inner turmoil of growing up and trying to find your place in the world.
In 2019, Eliott sold out a headline tour in Australia, having won fans supporting both Dean Lewis and Matt Corby on national tours, following a European tour with Dean Lewis.
Emerging as one of Australia’s most exciting and talented new artists, Eliott is signed to Island Records Australia and a global publishing deal with Downtown.
Eliott is currently writing for her debut album, which will be released globally through Island Records in 2020.
