Akim Pasquet is a French curator, co-founder and director of the art and living space Les Limbes in St Etienne, which welcomes and accompanies individuals, collectives and artists for research and production residencies, and for exhibitions.

Interested in the circulation of affects and energies, from intimacies to ensembles. In 2018 he co-founded Carbone, a biennial of collectives and artist spaces. For each edition, scientific communities and French and international artists' collectives take place in the city of St Etienne and deploy exhibitions, performances and events that are as many proposals that question the artistic activity, its modes of production, its communities of affection, curation, dissemination, validation, institutionalization and the effort of putting them in critique.

The next edition, planned for 2023, will particularly bring together alternative networks that question the (de)centralization of power and the economies of artist-run initiatives, in order to place their political side, their inscription in society and their commitment to a common good at the center of the debate.
